What is Medium Term Accommodation?

Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) is an NDIS support that covers the cost of accommodation for up to 90 days while you’re waiting for a more permanent housing solution.

This may include:

• Awaiting home modifications
• Transitioning to Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
• Moving between living arrangements
• Waiting for a suitable long-term placement

MTA ensures you have a safe and comfortable environment, so you’re not left without support during this period.

Who is MTA for?

You may be eligible for MTA if:

• You are an NDIS participant
• You have funding approved for Medium Term Accommodation
• You are unable to stay in your current living situation temporarily
• You’re waiting for long-term housing to become available
